Other events that are held by CrossTies include:
Back to School Bash is held at the end of summer. There is free food (hot dogs, other concessions) so no money is required for the students. There will be individual and group games (a'la teen nights and extreme games day), praise & worship and devotion time, and a performance or concert. For more specific details of what's going on this year, contact us to find out!
Extreme Games Day is held every summer and is open to all youth and adults alike. Various games are played, "olympic style," including sumo wrestling, a mud hill climb, an obstacle course, tug-of-war, and many more. Games are played both individually and as a team, depending on the game. At the end of the day one team reigns supreme, walking away with $100 in prize money. Individuals also walk away with prizes for the individual-based games.
Winter Wonderland occurs each winter, weather permitting. Activities include ice skating, sleigh rides, 4-wheeler tubing, and plenty of hot chocolate to spare.
FireStorm occurs at the end of the summer and consists of a full day of contemporary Christian music. Expected to return to the CrossTies lineup of events in 2009, FireStorm is currently in planning and we are looking for artists to perform while we also get set to construct the amphitheater stage. We are also looking for sponsors for the event. If you or your business are interested in helping sponsor Firestorm, please contact us.
